Project Introduction
We provided a customized P1.25 indoor LED display solution for a performance hall at Guangdong Ocean University in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, China. The installation combines a central screen measuring 12.8 m wide by 2.88 m high with two vertical side screens, each measuring 1.28 m wide by 2.88 m high. Together, the three screens offer approximately 44.24 m² of display area, creating a coordinated stage backdrop for performances, presentations, and university events. The fine 1.25 mm pixel pitch provides detailed images and clear text for audiences viewing from close distances.
To integrate the displays into the hall’s interior, we used a recessed wall-mounted installation, fitting the screens into the wall rather than leaving the cabinets exposed. Black stainless steel trim frames each display, giving the installation a clean, consistent finish that complements the stage. The LED modules also feature GOB protective encapsulation, adding a protective layer over the LED surface to help reduce the risk of damage from accidental contact. From the screen dimensions to the mounting arrangement and finishing details, we tailored the solution to the venue’s layout and visual requirements.
Our engineers and installation team traveled approximately 400 km by road to carry out the installation on site. With three screens to position, careful alignment was important to achieve even display surfaces and a consistent overall appearance. Our team completed the installation in just three days, combining direct on-site technical support with efficient installation work. The finished project brings together fine-pitch LED technology, added surface protection, and a neatly integrated design to support the hall’s stage display needs.
